Hi! I'm Allie (short for Alexandra) Schallert (previously Hendricks).

I'm a visual journalist from upstate New York. I graduated from Western Kentucky University with a major in Photojournalism and a minor in Music.

I am currently based in St. Louis, Mo. as a Videographer/Photographer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. I am also a Part 107 certified drone pilot.

I have been recognized by the Hearst Journalism Awards, the National Press Photographers Foundation, the Society of Professional Journalists, and others for my work.

Whether news or nature, I love documenting the world and showing parts of life that are otherwise unknown or overlooked.
